PEAN
 

 

Our Mission

PEAN will:

1.      Work to prevent elder abuse by increasing awareness and understanding of elder abuse issues, seniors’ rights, requirements for safe and secure aging, and relevant services inHastings and Prince Edward Counties.

2.      Promote and maintain a collaborative, coordinated response to disclosures and allegations, identification and response to elder abuse in Hastings & Prince Edward Counties.

 

 

Values Statement

1.      We value the commitment and contribution of network members that includes strong representation from the seniors’ community and service providers to work cooperatively in fulfilling The Network’s mission.

2.      We value the right of all seniors to be his/her own decision-maker if mentally competent.

3.      We value the right of seniors to have access to safe shelter, access to their own funds, emotional and personal support, and control over their own lives.

 

Vision Statement

We envision a community that is a safe, secure, respectful and supportive place for seniors to live and enjoy independence free from abuse.
